Novelit respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), we will respond to valid copyright infringement notices and take appropriate action as required by law.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on Novelit infringes your copyright, please send a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated copyright agent including the following:
Your full name and contact information (email address is required)
A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
The exact URL or location of the infringing material within the app or platform
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
Your physical or electronic signature

2. Action on Valid Notices
Upon receiving a valid DMCA complaint, we may:
Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
Notify the user who posted the content
Terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances
3. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including:
Your name, contact information, and signature
Identification of the removed content and its previous location
A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
Consent to jurisdiction of applicable courts (as required by law)
If a valid counter-notice is received, we may restore the content unless the original complainant initiates legal action.
4. Repeat Infringers
Novelit reserves the right to terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
5. Important Notes
Novelit is a platform for user-generated content
We do not pre-screen all content uploaded by users
We act as a service provider under DMCA safe harbor provisions
